I am Jonathan Ullmer, an experienced educational leader with a diverse background in both national and international education settings. With over three decades of dedicated service in the field, I have honed my skills as a visionary leader, strategic thinker, and advocate for educational excellence.

Throughout my career, I have been driven by a deep commitment to providing students with the highest quality education possible. As a Founding Director of Education for CATS Colleges, I have had the privilege of leading schools through transformative journeys, from struggling institutions to centers of academic excellence. My leadership style is characterized by a focus on collaboration, innovation, and the relentless pursuit of excellence.

Achievements:

My journey with CATS Colleges has been one marked by significant achievements and milestones. I have led two schools from unsatisfactory to excellent, with UK Inspectors commending our outstanding leadership. Additionally, I played a pivotal role in the establishment of two international colleges in London and Boston, contributing to their successful growth and development. The recognition of our efforts came in the form of the Queens Award for Enterprise, a testament to our commitment to excellence and innovation in education.

Community Engagement:

Beyond my professional endeavors, I am deeply committed to giving back to the community. Over the years, I have led over 50 school and community projects in the Southend area, working closely with local stakeholders to address pressing issues and make a positive impact. As Chair of Love Southend, I have spearheaded urban regeneration efforts, bringing together various organizations and authorities to create lasting change.

My dedication to education extends beyond the classroom, as evidenced by my contributions to educational literature. I have authored numerous articles and books on topics ranging from teaching methodologies to community engagement, seeking to share insights and best practices with educators worldwide. Alongside my literary contributions, I have been honored with several awards, including the prestigious Order of the British Empire and the Queens Award for Enterprise, in recognition of my contributions to education and innovation.
